Responsibilities:
✅ Deliver engaging English language and literature lessons
✅ Prepare lesson plans, assignments, and assessments
✅ Provide academic support to struggling students
✅ Supervise students in dormitories or residence halls
✅ Offer emotional and social support to students
✅ Act as a mentor and role model
✅ Lead or support extracurricular activities (clubs, sports, arts)
✅ Organize literary events, debates, and competitions
✅ Enforce school rules and behavioral expectations
✅ Communicate with parents regarding student progress
✅ Maintain student behavior and performance records
✅ Be available for emergencies and crises
✅ Collaborate with the school’s pastoral team
Skills & Experience Required:
🔹 Qualifications: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in English with B.Ed.
🔹 Experience: Minimum 2-5 years of teaching English in CBSE/ICSE schools preferred
🔹 Skills: Strong communication, classroom management, leadership, mentorship, and extracurricular activity planning
🔹 Additional: Prior experience in a residential school is an advantage
